36 Shots and only 2 goals.....I guess it is a road game. Papa Flame is putting up more goals tonight.

With Backlund and Lundmark gone I wouldn't expect much offence from the heat. Those are the only two forwards i would consider to have offensive talent so without them they are in trouble.

Very true. I suppose the Flames have to fill talent with like minded players, so the Heat basically have Jaffray and Chucko as their most prolific scorers.  They are also now working on a 4 game losing skid, with only one win in the last eight.

Also of note, call-up David Shantz was in net for the 6-1 loss, after Irving was sent down.

The offensive woes continue. Shots on net still 30+ but not burying the chances.

Strange how the farm team mirrors the Flames.

^^ And that win began a current steak of 5-0-0-1. (Two SO wins and a SO loss)

They are now on a nine-game road swing, and have won the first three.

Results:

Abby @ Rochester 3-2 W

Abby @ Hamilton 2-1 W

Abby @ Toronto 5-1 W

They now move to Providence, RI to play the middle three-games-in-three-nights.

Great to see that the Heat are still on fire. They are now 7-1 on their 9 game raod trip and they beat the Worchester Sharks on Friday 5-4 in SO.
