This is a thread dedicated to the play/results of Mark Jankowski with the Providence Friars. Most of our prospects have had threads to keep track of their progress, so it makes sense to have one for our new 1st round pick. The season is about to get started, and I'm excited to watch this talented prospect flourish.

Mark Jankowski:
POS - C
HT/WT - 6'3 - 175lbs
From - St. Catherines, Ont.
Last team - Stanstead College Prep

Don't think so. But he's been solid defensively as well. Sooooooo hoping for a hat trick but it's 6-1, what can you do

Unfortunately they have him playing LW. Hopefully that changes.

I am pretty sure he is playing LW. He is listed as a LW on the site, took one face off, and is LW on the top line. Not a huge deal if he is there while he learns the game. I just hope he doesn't get stuck there.

He was the 1st forward back on every occasion. I could be wrong, but he was center, perhaps he is just quick?

I dont know much about US collage hockey

is there a specific reason Gillies only played 2 periods?

With him having the SO going I don't know why they yanked him for the third.

I feel like resting him because the game is out of reach for the opposition is a bit redundant during the first game, especially when he is on pace for the S.O., but whatever.

I was just wondering if there was a rule about it or something since both teams switched goalies (I get why you pull a goalie who let in 6 goals after half a game.)
