I've heard much the same.

 

He has the size and is willing to use it (grit) but his skating is not at NHL level yet.

 

It might be good enough for the AHL though.

I think people (not you) forget that he is still a kid, just turning 20 this month.  I suspect his slowness is more a product of not having to skate as hard due to the style of play there.  He isn't tasked with providing scoring on the rush.  But that's just and opinion.

I updated just my top 25, I don't rank all of them. Did not include Prybil, Hamilton or Ridditch as they arn't prospects anymore for me. I try to focus on younger ones. I tend to rank based on a combination of likelihood to make the nhl and then upside when they get there.
