It was a necessary call.

Best chance at getting one win.

Team is fresh.

Goalie is fresh.

If he lights it up, they can always go back to him tomorrow,

The curious thing is Peluso...Again.

I get that Mangiapane is injured, but Rychel would have been a better choice.

Peluso goes in, we lose.

Not causation, but factored into a goal against.

We were actually winning with Hathaway in there.

Hathaway practiced yesterday, but looks like he's a scratch today...   Not sure why...

If I had a guess, it has to do with the Dube and Janko hits; somthing like we can't just sit back and let the other teams hit us.

Yet, in the Dicks game JH played tentative for fear of being crushed or hacked.

Kessler doing Kessler things, even with the nuclear detergent in the lineup.

The hack on JH happened too late (and a goal down) to step up.

Kings aren’t as tough a team as they used to be without Darryl behind the bench. Still a decent team but this is one we have to win, especially while Quick is injured

I think they confirmed that Smith is starting tomorrow, no matter of the outcome today

This is a must win then, in order to stay in the hunt for the pacific. The Canucks are 3 points up, but are two games in hand. We are tied with San Jose, so we need this one if we lose tomorrow.

Nothing is ever confirmed.

You'll notice it was not the coach but the A/coach that said that.

First things first.  Win tonight.

Bennett was doing a fine job at being a pest in front of the net on that shift....
