Looks like Smith gets the start.

No makeup game for Rittich, BP goes with the warmer hand.

This will set up Rittich for NAS and Smith for EDM.

Normally, I would say this is opposite to what we should do.

Except, Htich's Oilers look like a team than can only score 2 goals max.

Smith can probably limit them to 2 or less, as the defense should be able to shut down everyone but McDavid.

Lineup note, Lomberg looks to be drawing back in over Czarnik.

The unfortunate thing is that Czarnik is a RHS, and playing 3 on the same line makes little sense.

The practice lines are as follows:

Projected #FlamesNHLFlames.png tonight vs. Minnesota:

Gaudreau-Monahan-Lindholm

Tkachuk-Backlund-Bennett

Mangiapane-Jankowski-Neal   (Like this, as Janko has been playing well and creating chances)

Lomberg-Ryan-Hathaway        (a more reasonable fit for Ryan's game; hard forecheck line some offense)

Giordano-Brodie

Hanifin-Hamonic

Kylington-Andersson               (Kylington should help add some needed speed over Prout)

Smith                                       (has to be better defense in front of him, as he's still under construction)

Let's hope that this game is a big un! They have to avoid suffering from the Minnesota boredom. They can lull a team to sleep.
