The first of 3 games in 4 nights, 4 games in 6 nights. Hopefully this the the time we can find consistent efforts.

It is definitely getting to be time for the team to get it's Satoshi together...   GO FLAMES!!!

Two 2-1 losses with the new lines and it's over. I hate this. Never give anything much of a look.

A couple of things.

One, BP said that Janko was ready to go, so he couldn;t run with Lindholm at C.

The other thing is Monahan isn't generating anything.

So, you have two that are supposed to score and one line gets its head kicked in defensively.

Instead of swapping out Quine or Bennett for Mangiapane, BP decides to revert to start of the season lines.

I guess being able to score more than one goal is essential and the only way that happens is the top line return to normal.

Depth scoring isn't doing much right now either.

It's not like we have played two great defensive teams either.

Anyway, I hope they figure out something better than just swapping Rieder and Quine or sitting Janko.

Zero patience is my issue with Peters. Game 2 of experimenting he puts Quine on the 2nd line? Then it's, nope, none of this is working. JG gets surrounded with Lindholm and Tkachuk, Mony trying to pick up pieces. Put my OHL line together and put speedy Mangia with JG.

Pairings:

Lindholm-JG.

Tkachuk-Mony.

Why is this in neverneverland? ffs

Even Rittich has tried to get him going...

Wooo!  Ryan.

Dumb question but if that broken stick on the goal line had prevented the puck from going in whats the call?

Funny enough Rinne has been involved in a play like that before

although the stick wasn't broken I don't think

My observation if the Flames start was a lot of dump and chase, not much possession.

The second goal was a clearing play by Bennett that neither got past the neutral zone nor was aimwd at a Flame.

If all you are going to do is clear the puck or dump it near a goalie that plays every puck, you will get nothing.

I really like the play Kylington made in the 1st on the breakaway.

Took away a good scoring chance and didn't take a penalty.

Typical sub-standard reffing.

Call a weak call on Quine in the 1st, miss the slashing call on the Preds and call the too many men penalty instead.

I guess the refs actually were told by the linesman that it was a penalty.
