This is should be switched IMO, Peters has a bad habit of riding Rittich for one game too long. Rittich was looking tired in the last game against Nashville. Give him a break tonight and let him play tomorrow.

WASH will be the tougher game with a tied Flames team in front.

If anything, he's burning Talbot's confidence by trying to give Rittich a chance to rebound with a fresh team in front.

I think we just have to be careful, Rittich is on pace for 66 starts and Talbot is on pace for 16. Rittich is our starter no doubt, but I don't want him to get burned out, and it's not like Talbot has been terrible.

Oh, I totally agree.

This early stuff is probably not indicative of the rest of the season though.

I do worry about playing Rittich when he's earned another start.

He earns every next start, so this really isn;t a decision is it.

I would imagine that Talbot starts to get more games as the scheule settles down.

We've played mostly top teams so far.

Very few bottom feeders or ones playing like crap.

Good Evening Calgary.

Staying up is tougher than getting up early...

Let's rock and roll the BJ's

Go Flames Go!

When he’s going those are automatic for Monahan. So while not exactly pretty it’s great to see that go in.

One of many flames who needs to just get on a roll.

Absolutely horrific clearing by the Flames. 4 straight attempts and they can’t get it out.
those are the types of small details that are big factors in why this team has struggled out of the gate

I'm hoping at some point they experiment with the 2nd paring.

Not impressed with the way they are making mistakes in ther own zone like it's a trend.

I could see a Hanifin-Ras pairing having some life.

I think Hamonic is too predictable and needs a more responsible D-man, even if he is less experienced.

Bennett needs to practice the between the legs Tkachuk OT snipe.

He almost ran out of time trying to control the puck.

Good for him.

I almost expected him to be called for goalie interference because he scored.

AT least Lucic did what we expect him to do.

Protect the goalie.

Sherwood was being a douche all over the ice.

I sure don't have a problem with Looch taking the extra 2 min for that one...   Sherwood needed a reminder, and he got one...
