WTF??? They missed a hooking call against Tkachuk, and called a non penalty against Backlund.

To be fair we have gotten our share of PP's tonight.

I think a lot of that was started by the waterboy media to justify the trade after the fact.

They turfed him when they got McD and Eberle for not being a playoff killer (in the one season where they went there).

I thought we were bad here, but the Oiler fans and media throug you under the bus in less than two weeks.

Neal will soon have more minus than goals (as someone pointed out somehwere else), so he'll be a goat soon.

His team's always end up bottom feeders.

That's fair, I am just not parting with a 1st or Valimaki to get him.

Just haven't been impressed with him this game, really lazy away from the puck and soft when he does have it.

Agree 100%.

Of course, if there isn’t a deal negotiated in advance for the following season, the trade offer to the devils decreases significantly.

Really only one Flame who had a poor night and that was Jankowski.

Really good team win, it helps when you play a really bad team.

This 5 games in 8 nights is just what we needed to quiet the panic mongers. 4 wins. And Rittich's had the most starts in the league. And I don't care. lol

He was a big part of last year, bigger role this year.

We're getting in a rhythm though. Only getting better. Johnny'll settle in too. Stupid early season.

I was on the NJ feed, so got the post game interviews from Hall and Greene. The common theme was, "when they come at you on the rush, they really come at you". We don't seem to think that as fans, but there's 2 top NHLer's that just played us saying it's so.

Why I don't understand the "slow" critique. Flames are one of the better attacking teams in the league.

I have to wonder why Quine is on the 3rd line while Rieder is on the 4th.

Not that it really matters what line you call it, but Rieder on RW with Doc and Bennett might be something to consider.

On his strong side draws, you could have Bennett between the two for a different look.

Mess with the other team's heads.

I don't mnd Quine, but he's not as fast as Rieder.

Just a thought.

The Flames were good for most of the game, and were waves of pain for stretches.

Not a big fan of the way Hamonic played, but Brodie-Stone was not real bad, just struggled with speed.

Gio needs to buy sticks from the store that Ras shops at.

Or stop trying to one-time.

When Backlund's shooting % levels out, he will start scoring a lot more.

He just has so many chances, some don't even count as shots.

Rieder is almost as unlucky.

No real complaints from an entertaining game.

If we can play this way on Saturday, we can win.

I would think about leaving Stone in, just so Brodie plays LD.

Think about it.

Haven;t seen Davidson play in a long time, so I can;t say if he's as good as his AHL numbers suggest.
