It has nothing to do with the rest of the game.

A dirty hit is just that.

I didn’t see it as dirty.

Breakdowns all over the ice are costing this team.

Simple plays not being executed.

Over passing.

Unable to make a pass.

Chances where we look like timbits kids.

If the D isn't capable of pinching with the forwards covering, what is the point?

Too many slow skating D-men out there, so somebody is going to get burned.

He left his feet, it was forearm straight to Mangiapane's face, it was as dirty as it gets.

Holy cow Monahan wakey wakey. Little intensity nets you a goal there

What was Monahan doing there? Just be hard on the puck and it's in.

I will say that nobody expected a bounce like that, but his hesitance and shot selection seem to perfectly sum up this team so far. No confidence at all

It's legit reached insane levels how the puck just won't go in for the Flames. In the last 5 mins alone here about 5-6 chances that are so close.

Frustrating for these guys.

Point of contact is the head.

watched it a few more times. Don’t think principal point of contact was the head. Square in the chest and exploding upwards. If that was Andersson hitting McDavid I’m not sure we’d be so one-sided.

If that was the case, it would be 5 and a game.

I can't even be mad anymore. Just feel horrible. This is the toughest stretch I've seen a team go through in a while.

Its at painful levels now.

Perhaps, but it sure looked like he hit his head on that play and possibly left his feet. I read that as intent to injure. Why do you think Rinaldo came in so quickly? If it was a nothing play, nobody would react like that.

I have to say, having watched mangiapane a lot in Barrie I’m surprised he took a hit like that. He’s so shifty and pretty adept at avoiding those and usually makes defenders look stupid when they try that and miss him. He took a hard one no doubt. Hope he’s ok regardless of how I see it.

Watch Mangiapane's head snap back. Dunn caught him square in the head.

There’s no urgency in our game.

PS> here’s your preview of Bennett-less flames team.

I read that as intent to body check. Perfectly legal in the game of hockey.

and I also completely disagree with you regarding the way players react to a hit. They ALWAYS react that way whether it was CLEAN or dirty...

great angle. Not one I had on my feed. I was mistaken JT. His head got hit first. we’ll see how the league calls it.

Our Captain goes from Norris winner to nauseating. This team needs a shake up, once again to small to soft. Last time I looked hitting posts and missing nets don’t win games
