Good that they got the win but thats quite a ways off the bounce back I would have liked to see after what has occurred.

hopefully take the positives and build but plenty of questions remain.

Monahan in OT was painful to watch.

Kinda summed up his game today.

They need to get him away from Gaudreau STAT.

They seem to feed off each other's soft play.

It's not working.

Let's start with the good. This team needed a win the worst way, and they gutted one out today. I thought Gaudreau looked much better today, way more engaged. Rittich was great as usual. The Ryan line has string together a good run of games here. I even thought Jankowski had a better game.

Now for the bad. The 2nd period was absolute garbage, just terrible. Outside of Gaudreau the 1st line has horrendous. Monahan is just plain bad right now.

It's hard to get on the defense too much right now as we have the 7th,8th and 9th defensemen on the depth chart playing right now. Really can't wait for Brodie to get back in the lineup.

I like the second one but the line is too soft.  It needs Bennett on LW.  I know you will love that suggestion!! Cheers

I was unable to watch the game today. Can you clarify what you mean by Monahan being terrible in OT? While frustrating, I do not mind losing a few games if we are playing well and they are just not going in. If we are not, then we should be concerned.

If you get a chance to watch the OT, you would see Monahan playing like crap.

The whole game was bad for him, but OT was amazingly bad.

I don;t even know if they has possession for more than a few seconds when they were on the ice.

If I didn;t know better, I would swear Monahan was sick with the flu.

Lethargic.

Nothing what I would consider offense.
