Post penalty lines you will see Johnny double shifted.

The 2nd line is Monahan at C and Backlund on the wing.

Ahh. Didn’t realize. Thanks guys.

Flames playing some inspired hockey. This is something I can get behind - win or lose.

Wow. Looch Ryan and Johnny looking real good together.

I never questioned Ryan or Lucic’s work ethic or try, but they seemed to have found another level playing with Johnny.

The long break has helped.

Almost no dedctaed practice time this year.

The most games played of any team in the NHL.

The one thing about change is that you have to simplify things.

That was a problem; we weren;t making simple plays.

I’m enjoying this game. And that’s not something I’ve been able to say for a while.

Go flames go. 🔥

Amazing how many calls we get against and very few for.

It's not like other teams play a clean game.

I'm not saying we didn't deserve our penalties (couple weak calls) but, there were 3 on Buffalo that we're just as bad, not called. I thought the Wideman effect would have worn off by now 😠

Janko and Lucic have to have the worst puck luck.

They have both had chances all season.

Janko walk in and hits bodies.

I believe it all has to do with confidence TD. Tonight, both of those players are playing the best hockey I’ve seen them play this season, so, perhaps Ward is already helping in this regard.

I don;t think either has played badly in other games.

They get chances.

Just unlucky.

Like Bennett and Janko running into each other.

Or a puck deflected by someone away from the net.

Or you have a wide open net and hit a player.

Backlund is the same way his year, but has more skill.
