I don;t think either has played badly in other games.

They get chances.

Just unlucky.

Like Bennett and Janko running into each other.

Or a puck deflected by someone away from the net.

Or you have a wide open net and hit a player.

Backlund is the same way his year, but has more skill.

I’m not disagreeing with you at all TD, I’m just saying I think a little confidence might change some of those outcomes. 😊

Funny how they have mixed up the lines again.

JH wth Monahan and Backlund.

Dube back with Ryan and Looch.

Beautiful passing play.

I thoiught they would overpass.

Instead a nice tap in.

Tappy.

Tappy.

I’m pumped to see Lucic get one. He’s been playing so well, just hasnt got a break. I have no issue with him this year, in fact I’ve been pleasantly surprised.

Lets get a big kill and finish this off

Credit to Wardo with the fresh remix of the lines.  It’s like the team has a new look and feel. I’d buy a Wardo mixxtape. Makes you wonder if Wardo always wanted to implement different line combos only to have Peters shut it down in the past?

I don't really get how one team (Calgary) is dominating the game 5v5 and the team being dominated (Buffalo) is winding up with all the PP's.

I am liking the Backlund-Monahan-Gaudreau line. The Tkachuk-Lindholm-Mangiapane line has looked good too. The Lucic-Ryan-Dube line has looked good for awhile. We might have finally figured out the right mix.

The team as a whole has been playing with so much speed and pace the last few games, it is really fun to watch.

That was where my mind was.

In my happy place Chubb.

looks like Buffalo was anticipating the bump back pass and we didn’t force it! Who are these guys?!?

Backlund hasn;t fit quite right this year.

I think this has been his best game in a long time.

The timings of lines is all messed up.

Top line not getting as many minutes as they should

It has been a much more confident and assertive Flames team tonight. Can’t even recall the last win streak we had.,let alone 3 games. Anyway too early to crown Wardo. Most team react positively at 1st after a coaching change..then they fall off a cliff
