For whatever reason the Flames have trouble against the Canucks, yet Petterson hasn’t even done much yet.

This year, in the only meeting we beat them 3-0.

I know what you are saying though.

Looks like our give-a-crap-o-meter isn’t where it needs to be tonight.

Talnot looks dialed in.

ALl the Flames need to do is play a smart game and chip away.

4 goals is all we need.

take it one goal at a time.

I’m guessing we were expecting an easy night. Sometimes it’s really tough to get out of that mindset without falling behind by a significant margin. Hopefully 3 is enough to turn the tides.

Listening to the Fan960 pre-game, they're saying of the whole team in a game where the coaches liked the team effort, but the coaches were not happy with the way Bennett played. I guess the 1 goal that McDavid scored was a failed effort for  Bennett? Or maybe they expect more when shutting down the best offensive player in the world?

One game they are moving him up to the top line and the next he’s back on the 4th.  They asked him to work on his 2 way game (effectively becoming a Flames Backlund no offensive dud, the Flames way) and he gets to fifth on the team in +-.  Now they sit him.  When they needed someone to be tough he took it on and when they needed goals in the playoffs he gave them goals.    What a disaster, there will be no hits tonight, the Nucks will shate with heads down - trade him for his sake and let the little team continue on in mediocrity!

I wouldn;t say that.

I think the goals were bad.

Two were on PP.

The defense look a little messed up.

No traffic in front. Essentially a goalie warm up

yep. Looking like a power play at practice. Here’s hoping Wardo is able to spark some sense of urgency in their game for period 2.

Time for a ripping during the intermission.

ALthough they had chances and outshot the Nucks, they were pretty inept in their own zone.

The D was all over the place, not in a good way.
