Of course Bennett always within inches! If he was on another team I bet he scores all of those lol

No worries about Bennett on another team.

He is exactly what he is.

Down 2-0 to one of the worst teams in the league when your battling for the playoffs.

completely unacceptable

Unacceptable, but not unexpected. This season has been nothing if not frustrating. 1 goal in 2.5 games, and Toronto being the only quality opponent of the last 3

What bothers me is we have emotional wins and follow it up with a poor effort or we can't score to save our lives.

This isn;t a dire situation right this minute, as we can easily acore two three goals.

The scoreboard is too close to let these ones slip away.

EDM will be tied with us unless we get this game.

That sets up a BOA game with meaning.

Well at least the Flames get some time off to drink and be party, because they certainly deserve it, they’ve got so much to be proud of this year.

Or have they learnt their lesson from past bye weeks?

Jeez I like to stay positive in a GDT but they're making in hard to not call them out.

As I expected, Rittich has a bit of a letdown game after such a good one.

Uneven game for him, so he isn;t sharp.

Shoulda woulda coulda started Talbot.

PP looking brutal, they need to mix it up.

We should be letting Backlund take a long sit for the rest of this game.

Passing on the PP has been bad.

But I haven't liked Backlund on the Monahan line since, well, ever.

Dube has cooled down on Lucic's line.

Tkachuk is not getting goals.

Either use Dube or Mangiapane on the top line or just put a top 6 forward up there.

I don’t know what to think of his game. The first two goals were weird plays that were not even close to his fault as they were both good lucky bounces in the Sens favour. The pp goal was a net crasher. I dunno.

I would like to see Dube there, or put him with the Lindholm line. Mang is trying but seems to have gone quiet as well.
Maybe switch the two as Mang has had success with Ryan before. Just get a new look?

The team really does need another top 6 rw.

I don’t think you blame Rittich. The team in front of him is crap again.

i was actually a bit surprised they started well, which makes this even more frustrating. Their focus is clearly more on their up coming vacations then the 2 points. Which is completely garbage considering you had the same thing happen in Montreal.

pretty much done with this core. Don’t think this core can win anything. There’s no culture, no work ethic and no accountability.

I feel ya.  That's why, barring a major run this offseason (if we even make it) I strongly hope we trade Gaudreau.  He is looked to as the guy on this team, and look where that's got us the last few seasons.  It would shake up the core and actually bring back some significant assets to boot.

Not saying it's Rittich's fault.

He hasn;t needed to be that sharp, so when the play is scrambly, he is too.

I would have started Talbot just because the break is too long to not play for that long.
