Johnny needs to use that scoring move Bennett used on a breakaway.

Backlund scores on almost every breakaway he gets.

Bennett scored like a star.

Don;t know why Johnny hasn't learned a thing.

He used to backhand high, or go back against the garin after he dekes left.

Now 5-hole only.

Rittich tried to talk to him about it.

Positivity is back.

Flames Positivity.

Got that crappy start out of the way.

As long as the coach doesn;t change the lines we will be fine.

Maybe swap Brodie with Davidson, and limit Stone's minutes.

At least Brodie and Kylington can play RD.

2nd line is having trouble with the Kane line.

So is 3rd lone.

I guess starting RIttich was not such a great idea.

Bad pass by the rookie Dube, I coach novice and they know not to pass pucks up the middle on their zone.

Didn’t like the first goal on Rittich but the rest of them aren’t his fault. The pull was to shake up the team. They’re watching Chicago play. They’re not engaged (again). The flames embarrassed their goalie (again).

Talking to a couple buddies today, I told them the Flames are gonna get smoked tonight, because they’ll be complacent after the blowout at the pond.

Not exactly getting smoked, but they sure aren’t playing that well. Par for the course this season

I know, but starting Talbot probably doesn;t mean a goal on the 1st shot.

He hasn'r ben like that since the start of the season.

I wouldn’t say the first shot - goal thing is just a Rittich thing. Stone pinched and Chicago got a good scoring chance early. Toews had the option to pass as well.

bottom line, if we keep hanging our goalies out to dry, it’ll be the same story for every goalie that plays net for us.

I am really starting to the issue with this team is with the forwards, and it has nothing to do with scoring. The forwards attention to detail is severely lacking. Most of the goals the last few games have resulted from turnovers or missed assignments from the forwards.

I don't know if it's coaching or if they are listening to the media saying they need scoring and are looking for forwards making them grip the sticks and a little to aggressive for offense.

The PP's have been few for the Flames so far.

Lindy was being held for about 15 seconds in the 1st with no call at all.

A lot less obvious ones are being called.

Let's hope they can win a faceoff and get set up

Stone playing the puck in the air instead of playing the landing almost cost them a chance.
