2nd period is bad.

1st was pretty good.

I watched the first. For a team that isn’t rebuilding the Flames sure played a sloppy game. It didn’t look pretty, but you’re right they were in the Detroit zone more often. As good as that sounds, they still looked disorganized.

Breadman is something else

good game for Rittich

Bennett still looking good at center

I dont like Backlund as D in the dying seconds, he wont sacrifice everything for the team.  I will say that calling him out seems to have got him going.  He is looking more alive and Thats good.

Sloppy at times, but got the two points.

Hanifin had a good night.

TDL tomorrow.

Wonder if we are in on Athanasiou as he was a healthy scratch tonight.

Flames played well enough to win is about all you can say there.

Thought Hanifin was strong, and Rittich with a really good bounce back effort. Top line seems to be coming alive a little bit which is a positive.

At this point I don't think your going to see the game style get fixed. The Flames identity is going to be to win however they can and if it's sloppy who cares. I don't see that changing between now and the end of the season.

I kind of think that's the new slogan. It's what this year has been.
