Yep..Monahan , tkachuk and a far as I'm concerned Backlund ..should be our top 3 ..

It still baffles me why Backlund doesn't do more shoutouts..some of his one on one moves are just sick

Bennett has been good on breakaways too but he just doesn't get very many

You must have a good memory.

I haven't seen Bennett use speed in such a long time.

he had that breakaway goal in one of those games he scored maybe the two goal game or the one, when he was playing well at C those first few.

i am a Scorpio. A Scorpio never forgets! so I feel like I pay attention and remember some details. Well, Bennett is one I keep hoping for.

I like how Talbot deflects the puck out a lot of times.

Less dangerous than putting it in the corner.

Remember the game, just not the play.

3 games at C and he looked great.

I just find that most of the time, he is slow from zero to top speed.

As such he doesn;t get a chance to use it much.

Top speed, I would rank the Flames with Mangiapane, Janko, Rieder, Kylington as tops.

Janko doesn;t use it much.

Zero to top speed, Johnny, Mangiapane and Rieder.

Maybe just looks that way.

7 goals so far for Looch this season...   That ties him for the 7 that Neal scored last season...   So no loss for offense, as Looch also has 11 assists so far as compared to Neal's 12 last season...

Neal is still stuck at 19 while in IR, so he still is ahead by 12 (10 being the magic number as part of the conditions for the 3rd)...   But Neal hadn't scored for just shy of 2 months before he hurt his foot...

Bennett benched on the last shift. Double shifted gaudreau there. Almost scored but almost cost them a goal.

JH is buzzing today.

All over the ice, in a good way.

Caught on a long shift with the D trying to change.

Otherwise, his game has been what you want to see from a top player.

The D has to pay attention to where the puck is.  They were changing both D when it happened.

looks like the Flames went into defensive mode here. They[re not attacking and letting the Panthers come at them.

Nobody except Gio touched the puck donkeys.

6th player was sitting on the boards when he did.

Gaudreau also kept it too long and should have gotten rid of it sooner. He let the 3 guys zero in on him.

I've seen enough of Forbort and Gustafsson to suggest that Kylington should be in.

Neither is that bad, but then again neither was Kylington.

Possession with no support.

Where was he going to pass it?

The D was changing with the puck at the blue line.

Talbot has started looking like a starter again.

Not suggesting we go to him for the remainder of the season, just that he's looked about as good as a backup could.
