Possession with no support.

Where was he going to pass it?

The D was changing with the puck at the blue line.

Dump it down the ice. he was at centre, turned back and then three guys got on him. Or skate it back into the Flames zone. Just saying he had better options. If it were any other player you'd blame them for it.

Listening to the radio atm. Sounding like Talbot’s really saving our bacon and that the flames have significantly let off the gas. Are they tired due to the number of games played in quick succession? Or are they showing complacency because they’re Satisfied with the lead?

I feel like they started to sit back and worry about defending over attacking. It doesn't feel like they[re completely outplaying the flames but on one shift Johnny skated in all alone and Monahan and Lindholm stayed at the blue line. Albeit, Johnny may have just lost it so they played it safe. They're attacking when they have the chance, but I worry that the sitting back could cost them.

Look, I take the good with the bad from any player.

That was marginal at worst.

He takes it back into the zone and he's alone there.

Flip it down the ice and he's trying to get off with the rest of his line changing.

We all have biases.  If you do little all game and make that kind of mistake, I might be harder on the player.

This was a 50/50 play where the D went off.

FLA is a big team, so they can cycle the puck with their top line out there.

The Flames have had some great shifts where they control the play.

Full shifts spent in the O-zone.

They may not be getting a lot of shots out of it.

A lot of times they are coming off defending, so they just dump it and send in one forechecker.

That's a pretty easy exit for them.

I would like to see the Flames get two in forechecking.

Make it tougher.

Slow down the exit.

3-1-1 is a nice trip. 4 tough opponents in a short span.

Gaudreau and Gio were really good tonight.

Talbot was excellent. They need to stop being hesitant about playing him. Not putting the last 2 losses on Rittich, but Talbot is playing well, so ride him

It hasn't stopped you from sharing your dislike for Backlund, even when he is playing well.

Overall good road trip.

did not think they were dominant tonight but 3-0 is a good score any day.

Well played Talbot.

yup, I think pretty even, and the flames seemed to limit the really tough ones for Talbot, and Talbot was sharp and square when he had to be.

Ya I would have actually played Talbot yesterday, then you can always come back to Rittich for the most win..or give Talbot another if he was hot

Florida played a good game.

The Flames controlled play at times but looked a little sluggish as the game went on. Not surprising in the second half of a B2B and especially at the end of  a road trip.

Talbot was dialed in. Kudos for the SO.
