That’s a really good play by Monahan. Not only to not give up on the play but to find Brodie when Gaudreau was right in front of him.

Ice in his veins.

Very impressive come from behind win.

Instead of poking it into the glove of the goalie, he takes it away and feeds Brodie.

Perfect finish

Little redemption from the Nashville game.

50 mins in, probably didn’t deserve a win, but pulled it out of the fire.

Big 2 points nonetheless

This OT was pretty exciting.

Much better than Tkachuk's weak sauce in the last two OT's.

Undeserving win. Hopefully they figure out the right formula in this final stretch.

I agree with Burkie that they started playing from the mid period onward.

The start of the game was good, up till Tkachuk was injured.

Then they fell apart.

No it wasn;t 60 minutes.

They played horrible structure for 1/2 the game.

Talbot was good enough to be lucky.

He played well after the 2nd goal.

Wouldn;t say he was 100% comfortable with the way the team was playing.

Too much cutesy plays where there was no room for error.

I don;t mind a cute play down low, but not at the blue line.  Not on a breakout where there is pressure.

book hockey and book hockey.

So much book hockey! It was a little messy tonight, but the boys found a way to clean it up!

Love.

haha!

i don’t know what I was trying to say! I think that the BJs play text book hockey and the Flames don’t, and it is what I want to see from them, referring to what Burke said in the 2nd intermission.

maybe they’re just too book!

Will give them props for the character they showed to come back. For whatever reason this core seems to need to push it's back to the wall to really light a fire in them.

But those first 50 were dreadful. I really hope the lesson they take out of the game is fixing the first 50 and not focusing on what they did in the final 10 + OT.

To be honest, Robbo, I missed the bit Burke bit. I turned it on in the moments just before Lindholm scored. So, it sounds like I came at the right time... which is the real art of book hockey.

Love.
