That was one of the sloppiest games I’ve seen.  Could make a pass, running into each other, poor decisions, and so many players falling down for no reason.  Did the equipment manager drag all their skates behind the truck this morning?

Mange echoed what I said. Problem is they need to start on time, first and foremost. Ward seems to think after 9 minutes in we were even - he needs to stop saving the players from the truth. They need a reality check.

The problem is that they let in an early goal.

Sometimes they can get back into it.

Other games they get behind by two, then 3.

Starting on time is fine, but even if you don't you need to manage the game.

They were not completely flat, but when their 4th line gets the jump on them, something is wrong.

Our 4th line and 3rd pairing.

That's a coaching mistake.

Hate to say if we make the playoffs I see it going the same as last year out in the first......prove me wrong Flames

This is exactly the state of the Flames. That’s IF they make the playoffs at all. I’ve been saying...don’t expect a different team in the playoffs. I don’t trust the Flames against any team in the 1st rd right now, they don’t yet possess the mental fortitude to put together even a 60 mins effort let alone potentially 7 games.

At home the always let in an early goal. Visiting teams must love playing in the Saddledome, they’re almost guaranteed to score within the 1st. Just over 10 games left and the team still struggles with “starting on time”? If playoffs started today we’d play the Oilers and I don’t even trust this team to beat them right now.

Tough way to lose a point. Unfortunate break for Mangaiapane but at the same time what he did made no sense.

Flames have been poor defensively for weeks. They will look ok against poor offensive teams but teams like Vegas will make them pay. Way too sloppy a defensive effort once again. trying to put blame on Rittich is just silly.

Sloppy play to start.

Rittich has not won a game in the Dome this year.

What was the difference in this game?

Two goals that should have never gone in.

As far as the playiffs go, I would prefer the Oilers end up in a WC spot and we face the Nucks.

We face the Blues or VGK in the 1st round we have a short run.

The Oilers and Nucks are easily handled.

Oilers won't be getting PP's every time someone makes a good defensive play.

And VAN is so up and down you never are  sure they are real or not.

I was wondering why the 4th line was invisible.

Janko was benched from the 12 minute mark in the 2nd on.

One shift in the 3rd.

0 for 3 on faceoffs.

Bennett went 2 for 4.

So we have a 4th line that can;t even be trusted to play 1/2 a game.

4 minutes for RInaldo, 6 for Janko and 8 for Bennett.

They couldn't handle Vegas' 4th line.

Beat down the ice by Reaves.

They’re invisible most of the time

Bennett went 2 for 4.

This is why Janko will center the 4th line again next game #stupidity

If that doesn’t scream “change up that line” I don’t know what does

I don;t know what they expect to do with the players they have.

One extra forward.

No idea if Gawdin can play at the NHL level, or for that matter Philp or Phillips or Czarnik.

Quine seems to be stuck as well.

All of those except Philp and Phillips have been called up or played this year.
